Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench set
- Torque wrench
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe thread sealant
- Level
- Air pressure gauge
Step-by-Step Installation
- Site Preparation: Select a clean, dry, well-ventilated location with adequate space for maintenance access and proper airflow.
- Foundation Requirements: Install on a solid, level concrete foundation capable of supporting the compressor's weight and vibration.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to appropriate power supply (see specifications). All electrical work must comply with local codes and be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Air System Connection: Install proper air piping with adequate sizing, using recommended pipe materials and proper slope for drainage.
- Cooling System Setup: Ensure adequate ventilation and cooling air flow. Maintain minimum clearances as specified in the manual.
- Oil and Lubrication: Fill with recommended compressor oil to proper level before initial startup.
- Initial Startup Procedure: Perform pre-start checks, verify rotation direction, and follow break-in procedure as outlined in the manual.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor won't start | Power issue, emergency stop engaged, control fault | Check power supply, reset emergency stop, check control panel for faults |
| Low air pressure | Air leak, clogged filter, incorrect pressure setting | Check for leaks, replace air filter, verify pressure settings |
| High operating temperature | Dirty cooler, low oil level, ambient temperature high | Clean cooler fins, check oil level, ensure adequate ventilation |
| Excessive oil consumption | Worn air/oil separator, oil leaks, overfilling | Replace separator, check for leaks, verify proper oil level |
| Unusual noises | Loose components, bearing wear, improper belt tension | Check for loose parts, inspect bearings, adjust belt tension |
| Frequent cycling | Air demand mismatch, control setting issues, leaks | Adjust control settings, check for system leaks, evaluate air demand |
Common Error Codes
- E01: High temperature shutdown - Check cooling system and oil level
- E02: High pressure shutdown - Verify pressure settings and relief valve
- E03: Motor overload - Check electrical connections and load conditions
- E04: Low oil pressure - Check oil level and pressure switch
- E05: Sensor failure - Check temperature and pressure sensors
- E06: Communication error - Check control panel connections
