Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a sturdy window with proper electrical access and adequate support for the unit's weight.
  2. Prepare Window Area: Clean the window sill and frame, remove any obstructions, and ensure the area is clear.
  3. Install Support Brackets: Secure the mounting brackets to the window sill according to manufacturer specifications.
  4. Position the Unit: Carefully lift the air conditioner into the window opening with assistance.
  5. Secure the Unit: Extend the side panels and secure them to the window frame using provided screws.
  6. Seal the Gaps: Apply weather stripping around the unit to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
  7. Electrical Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  8. Test Operation: Turn on the unit and test all functions including cooling, fan speeds, and thermostat.
Warning: Installation should be performed by two adults. Ensure proper support to prevent falling. All electrical connections must comply with local codes.
